The Dubai Metro generally extends its timings during holidays and special occasions. To avoid long queues and delays due to traffic, passengers have been advised to check-in online, use the fast baggage drop counters and reach the airport three to four hours prior to their flight. They will also be allowed to carry two pieces of check-in baggage on the flight during departure and on arrival. Dubai Police will also be providing detours for traffic in order to ease the congestion on the roads. Passengers have advised to follow any instructions and guidelines display on the way to and from the airport.
