Like other devotees, celebrities have also joined in the festive fevour. Putting on their best ethnic outfits and seeking blessings from the God of wisdom and adorning their homes to welcome Ganesh idols. As the celebrations begin, numerous celebrities shared pictures of ringing in the festivities at their home.

Ananya Pandey

The actress who is currently basking in the success of Call Me Bae, shared a series of pictures on her Instagram. She shared pictures with her family as they welcomed Ganpati idol home. Ananya Panday is seen with her parents Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey. They posed with folded hands. She wrote, “Welcome home Bappppa.”

Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Aaryan sought blessing Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja on the morning of Ganesh Chaturthi. He shared a couple of pictures on his Instagram, wherein he is seen seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha. He captioned the pictures, “HE is back… and so am i for his blessings (folded hands emoticon) Modak Party Begins !!! Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Munjya star Sharvari looked gorgeous dressed in a violet Kanjivaram saree for Ganesh Chaturthi. She shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account, and wrote, “Ganpati Bappa Morya The most magical time of the year & my moooooosssst favourite festival is here! My saree this year is a 35 year old Kanjivaram saree passed down from my Aaji to my Aai and to me today! Grateful & Thankful for this year.. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Ankita Lokhande

Ankita Lokhande welcomed Bappa at home. A day prior she looked excited as she visited several Mumbai workshops to select a Ganapati deity for her home. After finally selecting one, she was seen carrying an idol. Later, she took to Instagram to share pictures with Bappa and her husband, Vicky Jain.

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover’s celebrations were cute, thanks to their little daughter Devi. She posted a video wherein Devi was heard welcoming the deity by singing Ganpati Bappa Morya. “Devi Welcoming Gannu Baba with her sweet singing. Ganpati Bappa Morya,” Bipasha captioned the video.
