You to Return to Your Screens in 2021 with Season Three
Penn Badgley will be gracing your screens once again as the serial killer Joe Goldberg in the third season of the hit Netflix show, You
Penn Badgley might just be getting himself known as the resident creep on Netflix. The second season of You which premiered late last year had fans hooked on to the show, obsessing over Joe Goldberg aka Will Bettelheim aka Penn. And while time and again, Penn himself has asked his fans to not admire his character, some fans can’t seem to help it. But even if it’s not the character, the show’s interesting plot and out-of-the-box twists and turns have gotten viewers gelled to their screens. And it looks like they will be getting more of that crime thriller drama as Netflix announced yet another season of You, reported E! News.
Penn stars as the serial killer Joe who will return for the third. Season two took the action from New York to Los Angeles and introduced a new cast including Victoria Pedretti, Jenna Ortega, James Scully, Ambyr Childers, Carmela Zumbado, Robin Lord Taylor, Chris D'Elia and Charlie Barnett. It ended with Victoria’s character, Love Quinn – coming out as messed up as Joe – revealing all things she did to make Joe love her – including killing a few people on the way. A match made in hell, isn’t it? They clear of all their murder and move into a house together as Love is expecting their child. But will two horrible people ever get to live happily ever after?
We highly doubt that, because the end of season two say Joe eyeing his next prey – which this time, is in close proximity to him – none other than his female neighbour, who remains to be seen. Season three will also see the return of Penn and Victoria, however, no mention of other cast members have been revealed as of yet. It will premiere in 2021 and will have 10 episodes again. Based on the books by Caroline Kepnes, You is produced by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. Kepnes is currently at work on the third book of the series.
