Wow! The Indian Army Trained 600 Actors for Tubelight

The anticipation toward the release of the film Tubelight just keeps increasing! After the launch of the films trailer nearly broke the internet, news has now surfaced of the Indian army being actively involved in training the cast.

Since the film is based on the Indo-Sino war, more than 600 actors were cast to play the army personnel involved in the conflict. Director Kabir Khan who is known for his passion and dedication toward getting the ‘real character’ out of his actors, came up with the brilliant idea of getting the cast trained personally, enabling them to get under the real skin of their characters.

Based on his request, the Indian Army happily agreed and reportedly took the actors under their wings for a couple of weeks of training. The training involved the cast to be part of a boot camp where they underwent rigorous training, and learnt how to handle weapons and armour professionally.

This is one film to really look forward to!
