The ABCD franchise fans have a real treat coming their way! After two very successful films, Remo D’souza is planning his third and has reportedly roped in ‘Kick’ duo, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez for ABCD 3.
A source close to the film, revealed to DNA, “Salman starts Remo’s film right after he wraps up TZH. And the heroine has been finalised. Remo took his film to Jackie and she has liked the idea. She is out of the country, so once she’s back, he will sit down with her for a full script narration and lock her for the film.” Considering the duo made an amazing on-screen pair in their previous film (Kick), it’ll be such a treat to watch them back together!
In the film, Salman is rumoured to be playing a father to a 13-year-old girl. It’ll be an emotional dance drama, focusing on the father-daughter relationship.
An insider further revealed, “Salman and his daughter in the film, will be competing for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms.” Wow! Considering Jacqueline’s stellar dance moves, she seems like the perfect choice for this role.
The film is scheduled to release during Eid next year, which also happens to be Salman Khan’s favourite month for his releases. Commenting on the magnitude of the project, a source said, “ABCD was a sleeper hit. ABCD 2 starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and was the first dance film to do Rs 100 crore. ABCD 3 is getting bigger and needs a superstar for its third calling. Remo is extremely pleased everything has fallen in place.”
Getting bigger? Wow, if the prequels were anything to go by, this one’s going to be huge!
