Salman Khan could once again come up with another trump card if he manages to rope in Munnabhai MBBS star Sanjay Dutt for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan. A recent report in Bollywoodlife.com said that there is strong buzz in the Yash Raj Films that Salman has requested Aditya Chopra to approach Dutt to play the role of a mentor in the film. Though Sanjay Dutt is currently serving his sentence in Yerwada jail in Pune and is expected to be out in Februrary 2016, when the film will be in the middle of its first schedule.
A source reveals in bollywoodlife.com, “Salman thinks that Sanju will be great in the role and they will have fun while shooting. Also, Dutt, who has been away is raring to go and wants to get back to work as soon as he is released. The talks are its early stages as Adi also needs to figure out if there will be any legal hassle during the making or the release of the film.”
The Salman Khan-Sanjay Dutt duo became extremely popular after they both became besotted with Madhuri Dixit in the film Saajan. After that they worked together in a couple of films and they appeared together as co-hosts for the fifth season of Bigg Boss in 2011.
