She hit a hattrick with her first three films and her fourth one is receiving great reviews too but Alia Bhatt isn’t ready for the Khans of Bollywood.
Double her age, the 21 year old thinks she needs to look more mature to be cast opposite the superstars. She says, "I am right now definitely (young) because I look small not age wise, age is just a number, but my face. I am just maturing right now - from 'Student Of The Year' till now you can see a difference.”
While her second film was opposite an older Randeep Hooda, in defence she she’s quick to say, “I looked too young without make-up, which didn't look bad at all. So if there is a scope or a character and a role like that then it will work.”
Having worked in hits mostly with new comers like Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt feels the pressure of the success and says, “I am constantly under pressure because goodness becomes a burden on your shoulders so do the flops. So with every film, no matter how bad or good, there would be pressure.”
Well, let’s hope her successful run at the box-office continues.
