Whole wheat fusilli salad with peas and cherry tomatoes

Healthy carbs!

INGREDIENTS:
300g boiled whole wheat pasta as per packet instructions

1 tbsp walnut oil or olive oil

1 tbsp finely chopped garlic

cup blanched green peas

cup fresh basil

1 cup halved cherry tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste


METHOD:

Heat walnut oil or olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic and cook for a minute before it starts turning brown.

Add the peas and cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper and toss. Then toss the pasta and basil in the pan.

Serve hot.
