Your sleeping position is very vital so please ensure you get the right bed and pillow for yourself as soon as possible

Your sleeping position is very vital so please ensure you get the right bed and pillow for yourself as soon as possible, so that the problem does not aggravate further. Ensure you do not use a very thick pillow. In the meantime, you can practice bhujangasana (the cobra pose) which is very good for the back, neck and shoulders. Also, Makarasana (crocodile pose) would be beneficial. Apart from these simple neck rotations, shoulder rotations and shoulder stretches would help ease out the pain.
