Although Kate Middleton usually wore loose Pakistani outfits, she did wear fitted dresses on occasions like the evening reception and on her visit to the Army Canine Centre accentuating her tiny waistline. She lost her weight in no time even when she underwent childbirth. Kate Middleton, as everyone knows, loves sports. She has been physically active all her life and understands the importance of an effective workout in staying both fit and trim. Although she is a hands-on parent, Kate Middleton always takes time out for her workouts. Running is a part of her lifestyle. Kate Middleton does not stick to one workout and keeps changing the combination of weights and cardio techniques. Interestingly, she does not work out with a personal trainer but often with her sister Pippa Middleton.

The Duchess loves planks

Her favorite form of exercise is planks which she incorporates in different ways to her hour-long workout. The normal front plank, side plank, and prone skydive plank are a must. She also adds rowing and cycling techniques to her workouts. Her abs workout includes the Swiss gym ball.

Diet is an important part of fitness. No one can stay fit by just working out and not eating healthy. Kate Middleton rarely sways away from her protein-rich diet famously known as ‘Dukan Diet.’ This diet includes lean proteins, vegetables, healthy fats, and oils and snubs carbohydrates.
This diet has helped the Duchess to shed off the weight after the pregnancies. She also followed the same diet before her wedding in 2011.

When she is not following Dukan Diet, Kate Middleton prefers taking raw foods like vegetables and fruits. She avoids taking dairy but prefers smoothies made with a blend of kale, matcha, spinach, spirulina, lettuce, cilantro, and blueberries often blended with almond milk. The goal is not always to stay trim but also to achieve healthy and radiant skin.

The Duchess of Cambridge does not mind indulging once in a while

Kate Middleton, despite having a careful diet and workout lifestyle, does like to cheat on her diet once in a while. According to the Duchess, she loves traditional and spicy curries. On her visit to Aga Khan Centre London, the Duchess mentioned that she was excited to visit Pakistan to devour the curries as it was difficult at home. Despite being brought up in Britain, Kate Middleton has a flair for spices and can handle the ‘heat’ well.
