As we reported to you earlier, Ranveer Singh is indeed leaving his parents’ house and moving closer to the sets of his upcoming film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani, so he can avoid the daily commute with his injured shoulder. The star has apparently been so committed to the character in the film that despite the injury he shoots for up to 12 hours per day. So while the actor’s birthday is just around the corner, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to give him an early birthday present for his dedication towards the film.
A source close to the actor reveals to Mumbai Mirror, “He's completely committed to bringing the Maratha Peshwa to life on screen. Having acted in Ram-Leela earlier, he has realised that you don't just work with Mr Bhansali, you collaborate with him to create something special. And he has being doing just that. As a gesture of appreciation for his dedication, the filmmaker has given him an advance birthday gift-- a four-day break from work.”
Reports suggest that Ranveer will be flying out with his family to an undisclosed location to celebrate his 30th. The source further adds, "Before he takes time off he is working round-the-clock to ensure that his holiday doesn't impact the film's schedule."
Ranveer definitely earned his mini vacation!
