Ace actor Akshay Kumar recently opened up about his married life. He talked about his and children, and credited his daughter's intelligence to Twinkle Khanna, whom he called the brains of the family.
In the interview Akshay calls himself an "anpadh" (illiterate) and how he is the workhorse of the family, "My daughter gets her intelligence from my wife, Twinkle. Main to anpadh aadmi hu, zyada padha nahi hu. Main gadha mazdoori karta hu, wo dimaag wali hai.”
Gushing about Twinkle, Akshay credited her for being a great wife and mother, "I’m fortunate to have married superstar Rajesh Khanna’s daughter, but even more so because she is a wonderful wife and mother. Having the right partner makes life perfect. While I go to work, she takes excellent care of our children."
Akshay further praised Twinkle's outlook on life, saying, "I’m amazed by her outlook on life even today. At 50, she continues to study, having completed her master’s and now pursuing her PhD.”
Akshay revealed his life in London is unlike anyone else's, "When I go to London, I drop my daughter to school, drop my son at the university and finally drop my wife at the university. And then, like an ‘anpadh’ , return home and watch cricket all day.”
