WEATHER UPDATE: Hazy Conditions to Continue
The weather is expected to be VERY hot!
According to a recent report in Gulf News, residents with respiratory conditions must take precautions for the next three days as hazy and dusty conditions are expected to prevail over most parts of the country.
Weather on Sunday is expected to be hazy and hot to very hot, forecasters said.
The report added Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds will blow along the coast at speeds of between 20kph and 28kph, reaching 36kph at times, and in internal areas at 18kph to 28kph. Motorists are urged to drive with caution as horizontal visibility may deteriorate as moderate to fresh winds may kick up loose dust.
Dust clouds are expected across the country on Sunday except for Al Ain, the northern part of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, based on the satellite monitoring of the national weather bureau. The same weather pattern is forecast on Monday while on Tuesday, most dust clouds may cover until the northern most part of the country.
Both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea may reportedly be rough from Sunday to Tuesday.
