After being a guest at the Bigg Boss household back in 2010, Veena Malik is back with yet another reality TV show. However, this time, she'll be the one hosting it instead of being a participant. According to Images, Malik is currently shooting a brand new reality show in Pakistan for a local TV channel. Speaking of her upcoming gig, Malik revealed, "It's a reality show where we are looking for people who can act, sing, dance or do comedy sketches."
She added that the likes of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Kubra Khan and Javed Sheikh have been roped in for the project to serve as judges to the talent hunt show. Say what? Abbasi and Malik on one set? That's one banter that's going to be interesting to watch.
Malik described the shooting to be "a lot of fun". She also said that she was excited to return to the screen and be on set with Sheikh after over a decade. The two last worked together in Yeh Dil Aapka Hua. However, it will be her first time working with Khan and Abbasi.

The polka dots, the color, the playfulness - you don't have to over do it. You just have to be able to style it in the right way. Polka Dots can never be out of Fashion. Regarding the talent show, Malik stated, "There aren't many acting schools or dancing schools in Pakistan. But I was pleasantly surprised to see how full of talent Pakistan is.
90% of the candidates we have had so far, have learned the skills on their own. Most of them haven't even received professional training."
The Sassi Punno star also gave a little insight about the selection process of the reality TV show. She explained, "We held an audition call first after which we received about 15,000 entries from all over Pakistan. We have not made any official announcements about the show yet, but I think we'll be going ahead with the publicity campaign in full swing after Eid."

I was able to get along with everybody especially @iamaamirliaquat and @syedatubaaamir . I really enjoyed. They were unique in their own ways, and I think that's what made the show fun. We had a great time laughing and having fun. #VeenaMalik #HamaraRamazanPtv #Aamirliaquat #SyedatubaAamir #RamazanMubarak
And while no name of the show has been revealed yet, chances are that it might just be called Pakistan's Got Talent. Who knows?
Malik told that fans have been asking about her next film or TV project, but she said that she enjoys reality TV a lot more than soap operas or dramas.
"People keep asking me whether I like doing TV dramas or films. I haven't worked on a lot of dramas in my career because I always love enjoyed working on films or reality TV a lot more. In comparison, reality TV is so much more fun because it is so spontaneous and nothing is scripted." While Malik is glad to be a part of the untitled show, she hopes that it will give a platform to talented people in Pakistan.
