Vaani Kapoor Says That She Does Not Fear Being Forgotten

Vaani Kapoor does not feel scared of being forgotten as she wants to choose the projects that excite her.

Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor hasn’t been one to churn out one film after another. The star made her acting debut with Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013 opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. But it was only in 2016 Befikre along with superstar Ranveer Singh that she started garnering more attention. Now, the actress is all set to hit screens with her upcoming film War in which she plays the female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. But despite doing very few films, Vaani never felt that audiences would forget her if she choose to do fewer films that many others star in the industry.

In a recent interview, the 31-year-old actress said, “If the fear of being forgotten had crept into me, you would have seen me doing 5 to 6 films by now. But I never give in to pressure. Honestly, in life, you should take situations day by day. You never know what comes your way. I just like to go with my instincts and be a part of the kind of work I like.” She added that she does wish to work more but she is also adamant on being part of a project that excites her. She explained that if she were to sign a film, she would need to be deeply passionate about it.

“If I am not deeply passionate about a certain project then I will let it be. I am just happy with the kind of work I got to do in War and also in the upcoming film Shamshera. I am grateful to just be a part of such quality films. I am glad that Siddharth Anand actually considered me for a film like this,” concluded Vaani. Her film War hits screens across the world on October 2, 2019. After that, she will be seen sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in Aditya Chopra’s Shamshera that is set to release in July 2020.
