Mohit Raina launched his Bollywood career with Uri: The Surgical Strike. Although he had a limited amount of screen time, the actor made a breakthrough. If you have not had enough of his fine acting, you are in for a treat as; the actor has something fresh and innovative to offer – his digital debut in Kaafir. The digital drama also catapults Dia Mirza‘s web career. She is playing the role of a Pakistani woman Kainaaz stuck in Kashmir with her five-year-old daughter, Seher. Mohit recently shared that he immediately wanted to accept the role when the script narrated to him. "As an actor, whenever you are being narrated the script, in a minute or two you know whether you want to be a part of it or not. You always know which way this narration heading towards. I knew I wanted to be a part of Kaafir. No matter how I had to do it, how I had to become the character, it was just a matter of time."

In the show, Mohit plays a journalist cum lawyer and emphasizes that present times are the best for anybody to join and be a part of the industry. He recently stated: "I just look at it as a greedy person who is moving around in satisfaction of his creative needs, irrespective of the platform. As long as my needs get satisfied, I am more than happy with that. I am not looking forward to a particular platform to be present at, I can move around. This is the best time for anyone to be a part of the industry, irrespective of the profession. You can be a technician, you can be a writer, you can be a creative person, there is so much good happening all around. You just need to be there to grasp it and make the most of the opportunity."

In regards to his future career Mohit says: "I’d love to be back on TV, but right now it’s a phase where the content provided is very nice. Irrespective of the platform, if I get the right script I’d jump into it. Till the time my creative hunger is satisfied, I am more than happy." Opposing rumors and supposed reports, marriage is currently not on the cards for Mohit, “I was misquoted on that. Marriage is not on the cards right now. It will happen at the right time, it will happen soon. Right now, my focus is on satisfying my creative hunger and greed."
