The country celebrates its 48th National Day today but it looks like the celebrations must have gotten bigger as a special guest was welcomed into the world earlier today. Bareen International Hospital located in Abu Dhabi shared the news of baby Hamad, born on UAE’s 48th National Day. Born to Emirati parents, Hamad came into the world around 9am this morning and weighed about 2.67kgs. He is the second child born to Mr. and Mrs. Mohammad Hamad Al Marri. Dr. Nazura Siddiqi and Dr. Mohamed Embabi successfully carried out the C-section delivery and ensured the safety of baby Hamad and the mother.
The families of the newborn were ecstatic that they now have two reasons to celebrate as their child came into the world on UAE’s National Day. They thanked Allah for delivering their baby safely and in good health. They also thanked the Bareen International Hospital team of professionals for the care and hospitality they were shown. The beaming father, Mr. Al Marri shared, “It is a great pride for us that our little boy shares his birthday with the National Day of our great nation. This day has certainly started on the best note possible. The medical and nursing staff at Bareen International Hospital has been fantastic, and we would like to thank them for safely delivering our precious gift.”
Dr. Siddiqi who was part of the delivery procedure also commented. She said, “It is always a happy time when we bring new life into the world. Having a baby at any time is a joyous occasion, but to have a baby delivered on UAE National Day 2019 is extra special, and we are proud that it happened here at Bareen International Hospital.” Dr. Embabi also shared his feelings. “We at Bareen International Hospital are truly honored to be part of this special moment. We wish baby Hamad and his family a happy and healthy future.”
