The TRP race is always competitive, with top shows vying for the number one position. Anupamaa, led by Rupali Ganguly, had long held the top spot. However, a few weeks ago, it experienced a significant drop in TRP ratings, slipping to fourth place and struggling ever since to regain its crown.
The TRP report for week 2 of 2025 has arrived, revealing the top five shows, which include fan favourites like Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Udne Ki Aasha. However, there’s a surprising new entry in the top five. Here’s a closer look.
Udne Ki Aasha
Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora’s show Udne Ki Aasha continues to dominate the charts, holding the number one spot. Portraying Sachin and Sayali, their chemistry—ranging from playful nok-jhok to heartfelt love—has captivated audiences. As with the previous week, the show maintains its impressive 2.5 million impressions.
Anupamaa
Rupali Ganguly’s show is steadily regaining its position at the top. After dropping to the fourth spot a few weeks ago, it has now climbed to the second spot on the TRP chart. This week, the show garnered an impressive 2.4 million impressions, signalling its rising popularity.
Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Here’s the surprise entry! Dilip Joshi’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has made a remarkable leap on the TRP chart, securing the third spot. The show has surpassed popular series like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. This week, the TRP rating for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stands at an impressive 2.3 million impressions.

The Shritama Mitra and Ankit Raizada starrer has seen a slight dip in TRPs, earning 2.2 million impressions and settling at the fourth spot.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, featuring Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla, holds the fifth spot with the same TRP, as Abhira and Armaan’s separation drama appears to have disappointed fans.
Meanwhile, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, starring Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj, also ties in with 2.2 million impressions. With an exciting leap in store for Savi and Rajat’s storyline, fans can expect a new wave of drama in the show’s upcoming episodes.
