Sunil Grover has been in the comedy industry for a long time now and his rise to fame came when he portrayed the characters of on Comedy Nights with Kapil and gained popularity with the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi on The Kapil Sharma Show. The shows pushed Sunil Grover to new heights of fame, but his eventual fallout with Kapil Sharma saw the end of the duo’s on-screen presence, together.
Since their fall-out, the two have been busy with their own projects, but recently Sunil Grover opened up to the possibility of working with Kapil Sharma in the future. During a conversation with Times Now Digital, “There is no planning as such to get back together soon. But yes, in near future; there’s no plan as such. But if circumstances, if a project comes where we can be together, let’s hope. (But) there’s no plan as such.”
The news of their fight broke out in 2017 and it instantly became the talk of the town. The reason for the spat was never made official, but the ace comedians parted their ways after that. Sunil Grover left the show to explore new pastures, while Kapil Sharma continued his show with new co-actors. Kapil Sharma had gone on Twitter to apologise for whatever transpired between the two, and Sunil Grover replied by forgiving him and wishing him success for the future.
