1. Shah Rukh Khan:
SRK is co-chairman of the motion picture production company Red Chillies Entertainment and its subsidiaries. His production company produces films and its VFX division offers VFX and animation services to other production houses and filmmakers. SRK is also the co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders. Shah Rukh has also considerably increased in businesses like Kidzania (the Indian arm of the children's reality park) which is successfully operating in India. He has invested in a number of other successful business ventures as well.
2. Shilpa Shetty:
After Shilpa and husband Raj Kundra sold out their stakes in the IPL team of Rajasthan Royals after the Supreme Court of India held Raj guilty of placing bets on IPL games, Shilpa engaged herself in other business ventures of her husband. She also laid the foundation of her own film production company and produced a film titled ‘Dishkiyaoon’ (2014). She also co-owns the Indian chain of spas and salon called Iosis.
3. Suniel Shetty:
Suniel first ventured into the business of fitness. His gyms can be spotted in many parts of the country. He also owns a film production house called Popcorn Entertainment, which has produced a string of films. Sunil is also the owner of Mischief, a series of boutiques. The actor runs several restaurants specializing in Udupi cuisine in the city. He has also ventured into designing and development of luxury real estate projects through his company S2 Reality.
4. Twinkle Khanna:
The best-selling author is one of the most successful designer candle makers in the country. She, along with her mother, is also a large exporter of designer candles. She followed it up with an interior designing firm called ‘The White Window’ in Mumbai. Both the businesses are doing very well. She recently set up her separate production house as well. Padman starring her husband Akshay Kumar was her first film as an independent film producer.
5. Ajay Devgn:
Ajay Devgn has invested a certain per cent of his money in a number of ventures. The actor is a part investor (along with Roha Group) in the Charanaka solar project in Gujarat. Ajay also owns a production house called Ajay Devgn Films. Established in the year 2000. Ajay also owns a VFX Studio.
