Legendary filmmaker SS Rajamouli has found himself in a serious controversy after a recent video surfaced on the internet. The video is a suicide note by a man named Srinivasa Rao, who claimed to be a ‘close friend’ of the RRR director. In the video, Rao allegedly accused the director of pushing him to contemplate suicide. Additionally, he has also accused Rajamouli of mental harassment, mentioning that a woman was the reason behind the rift between the two once best friends.
Srinivasa has recorded a video, which has now gone viral, wherein he revealed his ordeal and also left a suicide note for the police blaming Rajamouli for his death.
Srinivasa’s video blaming SS Rajamouli
Srinivasa shared an almost 5-minute-long video claiming he had a 34-year-long friendship with Rajamouli. However, their relationship turned sour because of an alleged love triangle involving a woman. The ‘close friend’ claimed that the Baahubali director first loved the woman. Later, he (Srinivasa) also fell for the same woman. However, for the sake of their friendship, Srinivasa sacrificed his love.
Recorded in Telugu, Srinivasa reported said, “I have no option but to die by suicide. Rajamouli is the reason I am still single at 55. We worked together until Yamadonga, but he ruined my career for a woman.”
He went on to add that after Rajamouli became a “star director”, he began doubting Srinivasa’s loyalty and later started harassing him. He mentioned, “I am 55 now. I am unable to bear this harassment anymore.”
He also reportedly said, “Today he became big director and he thought I told this story to someone and began harrassing me after some time there was a small argument between us I told him I want to make a movie based on our story from that moment he began to torture me.”
Srinivasa claims he lost everyone due to SS Rajamouli
Srinivasa also mentioned that he was not doing any of it for “publicity”. He said, “I am 55 now and I can no longer endure this harassment.”
He added, “I lost all the people who I consider my family (simha, kala bharirava, kartikeya) whom I have known since they were kids and used to call him uncle now because these disputes they don’t talk to him.”
Further in the video, he also urged the police to conduct a lie detector test on the filmmaker, accusing him of practising black magic, claiming he has suppressed all his rival filmmakers.
It is unknown if Srinivasa was rescued after his video surfaced online. On the other hand, Rajamouli is yet to react to the sensational claims.
