A clip from Sai Pallavi’s January 2022 interview is making the rounds online and has fueled the current issue. The main idea of Sai Pallavi’s remarks was that she doesn’t see the purpose of violence. For example, a translated version of her statement says, “Our army is perceived as a terrorist organization in Pakistan. But it’s them for us. Thus, the viewpoint shifts. Violence is beyond my comprehension. However, since the video reappeared, the actor’s examples to support her argument have received a very hostile response. She gave the example of a Muslim driver carrying a cow, alluding to the Kashmiri Pandit genocide depicted in The Kashmir Files (2022).
Reactions to Sai Pallavi’s statement
While there are some who are defending the actor’s stance, several comments across platforms echo the sentiment of boycott. Some examples are: “#BoycottSaiPallavi Indian Army & Pakistan Army – both are the same – #SaiPallavi This Pathetic woman is playing the role of Mata Sita in an upcoming Bollywood movie.
Upto Hindus to watch this new Ramayana movie or” and “Sai Pallavi called Indian Army ‘Pakistani Terrorist’, people’s patriotism got hurt- tell me how many innocent people we killed..!!”. On the flip side, comments defending her insisted on how her words are essentially being taken out of context: “Dragging out a 2-year-old video and twisting her words shows how desperate some people are for drama. She is just talking about perspective of different people. Try learning the facts before jumping to conclusions!”.
Sai Pallavi shared pictures of her recent visit to the National War Memorial, where she paid respects to Sepoy Vikram Singh SC (P) and Major Mukund Varadarajan AC (P). The former is honoured in Amaran. Many now think that this action is part of a “damage control” effort.
About Sai Pallavi’s career

Regarding her career, Sai Pallavi is at the very top of her career graph, full of ambition. The actor is currently working on a number of high-profile projects. In addition to preparing for the October 31 release of the Tamil film Amaran, the actor will soon be seen directing the pan-Indian production Thandel, which he will co-star in with Naga Chaitanya the following year. However, the actor’s most significant accomplishment to date is playing Maa Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, opposite Ranbir Kapoor, who will play Lord Rama.
