Allu Arjun and Atlee are coming together for a mega-ambitious film that also stars Deepika Padukone. The official announcement of the actress coming on board came just few days after the Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Spirit fiasco that shocked and nearly divided the internet. Allu, the man who stormed the celluloid with the historic success of Pushpa 1 and 1, was all set to collaborate with Vanga for a pan-India juggernaut but there’s a twist to the story. Nothing however has been confirmed just as yet.
Allu Arjun and Sandeep Vanga’s film seems to be in jeopardy and here’s what has unfolded ever since it was announced back in 2023.
If reports are to be believed, the film the two were collaborating on has been shelved. No confirmation about the same has been made yet.
It seems the project is going through changes and Junior NTR could be replacing the Pushpa star.
In an interview, Bhushan Kumar said, “The Allu Arjun film will be again different. It will be Sandeep’s style of filmmaking with .”
The explosive filmmaker wrote few weeks back, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are…”
He added, “Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it.”
A source said, ““Deepika Padukone is an indispensable part of Kalki 2898 AD. The first part’s story revolved around her and she has a crucial role in the sequel as well.”
An insider also commented- “A narrative is being built that due to her ‘unreasonable’ demands, she is being dropped from films. The Instagram handle, which started the rumour, also stated ‘This could impact her career after back-to-back project losses’.”
