Three Times Beyonce Turned Us Green With Envy

Not only is Beyonce a force to be reckoned with, but she is also the ultimate style star and leaves heads turning each time she steps out. Here are three Queen Bey looks we’re coveting

Beyonce is a name in the industry that needs little to no introduction. Over her time in the industry, she has become a force to be reckoned with and a fan following in millions. She shot to fame as the lead singer in popular girl band, Destiny’s Child and now, there is no song or album that is released under her banner that doesn’t become a hit. Beyonce is a global icon and despite this, likes to maintain a low profile. The actress is however, an avid user of social media and often takes to her Instagram account to share pictures of her fashion-forward looks and style.

Beyonce has recently been rather active on social media promoting her collaboration with sports good giant, Adidas and has been sharing heaps of pictures of herself in the athleaisure looks. If you’re looking for any kind of style inspiration, Queen Bey’s Instagram page is the place to go. From gracious gowns, to athleisure, to the boldest power suits, Beyonce most certainly fulfills the style quotient in every look. We’ve had our eyes peeled on the Crazy In Love singer for quite some time now and her style has always been rather flamboyant and eccentric. We also made note of the singer having a penchant for the colour green. With that being said, we round up three Beyonce looks that make for the perfect spring trend.

1.      Suit Up!

A quick scroll through Instagram will show that Queen Bey has a strong penchant for power suits. There have been a number of occasions on which she has sported a power suit and she does complete justice to the ensemble. Her latest look on her account is also a bold green power suit and she wears it with so much sass. For her latest look, Beyonce is clad in a denim green pant suit which she wears sans tank top. The blazer, which she has buttoned up featured white lined detailing which she has matched to her white heels. Beyonce accessorized with a statement diamond choker and white-rimmed cat eye sunnies. Beyonce opted to have her hair styled straight and parted in the middle and opted for a soft glossy lip to round off her look. We’d love to rock this look if we had that bod!

2.      The Little Mermaid

This number sported by Beyonce became the talk of the town when she arrived on the red carpet in 2007. The satin dress in a gorgeous collared green featured a deep round neck and cinched at the waist. The dress hugged her body in all the right places and accentuated her hour glass figure. Beyonce did complete justice to the dress which flared out into a mermaid tail at the bottom beyond her knees. The Who Run The World singer teamed the floor-length dress with a pair of strappy heels with only a pair of diamond drop earrings to accessorise with. For this look, the songstress had her hair styled straight and a minimal makeup look.

3.      Slits and Silk

Three Times Beyonce Turned Us Green With Envy

Beyonce’s first appearance after the birth of her baby was giving every mother-to-be major goals.         She stepped out in a custom emerald green Walter Mendez dress which featured a thigh-high slit and a slit across the bodice as well. The satin gown was all sorts of goals and was turning onlookers green with envy. Because..who looks like that soon after giving birth? The full-sleeved gown also featured a slit in one of the sleeves and she teamed the dress with a contrasting fur stole in a jewel toned hue. She teamed the look with a pair of sparkly heels and statement gold earrings and left heads turning. She had her hair styled in a half up, half down hairdo and opted for an overall bronze glow.

After rounding up these three looks, we’re left undecided as to which look is the one for us? What’s your favourite Beyonce look?
