Sajal Ali began her career at a very young age. She began appearing in the soap Mehmoodabad ki Malkayen in 2011 and since then has appeared in various television shows and feature films. She appeared in the movie Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai with Feroze Khan and later was seen in the Bollywood film Mom with Sridevi Kapoor. On television, Sajal has done a variety of roles which have had both positive and negative graphs. However, the one thing that has stayed consistent is that Sajal's performance has always been excellent!

Sajal plays a developmentally challenged young girl in this thriller tv show directed by Haseeb Hassan. Nanhi (Sajal Ali) goes through various ups and downs in her life. She has a troubled relationship with her mother, a young man who falls in love with her and an older man who manages to become her saviour. The show had a lot of notable stars (Javed Sheikh, Asma Abbas, Shahood Alvi) but Sajal's performance was appreciated by many, and it is a show to watch.
Airing on Hum TV, the show had many inconsistencies, but Sajal's role as Chammi was probably one of her best. She plays a young orphaned girl who is belligerent, conflicted and often exploited. Sajal showed she had great comedic timing and she was one of the highlights of the show. Aangan was also filled with a star-studded cast.

Sajal played Dr. Zubia, a young woman who has had a terrible past and a disturbed relationship with her family. She later manages to find her own space and strength and begins to rediscover life after she meets a young man named Dr. Asfandyar (Ahad Raza Mir, who is now the real-life husband of Sajal Ali). Directed by Shehzad Kashmiri and written by Farhat Ishtiaq this was also one of Sajal's most popular and much-loved tv shows.
Sajal is currently seen in the tv show Ye Dil Mera with Ahad Raza Mir, Adnan Siddiqui and Naima Khan as Aina, a young woman whose family is marred by a dark past and she has to learn how to come to terms with it. As for the future, it is yet to be seen what Sajal has stored for her fans and her audiences in the future but one thing is for sure that since she's a fantastic actress, she would surely be amazing in whatever she does!
