"Dreams actually do come true’", or so says Nisha Kumar, the lucky winner of a recently concluded Masala! competition. ‘Lucky’, why? Let us explain.
Masala! along with one of Dubai’s most breath-taking restaurants, Pierchic joined hands to gift one lucky to-be-bride or groom, the opportunity of a lifetime. A dedicated pre-wedding photoshoot, followed by a romantic lunch at what’s touted to be one of the most romantic locations in the city. As expected, we received a barrage of entries from girls and guys looking to romantically capture the start to their lives as husband and wife. Nisha was chosen among the lot, and boy was she over the moon when she found out! “When I received an email from team Masala!, I was shocked. I’ve tried my hands at so many competitions in the past, but hardly ever got lucky and so this time I couldn’t believe it. My fiancé couldn’t either.” explained the excited Nisha. The beautiful bride, and her fiancé Jaikrishnan are all set to tie the knot on the 14th of July, in Kerala, India.
She went on to narrate her experience to us, “It was the most perfect date we could ask for. Due to busy work schedules, we’re hardly ever able to spend quality time with each other. However, this time was special and different. We reached the venue located at Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah at 6:45am after which we were introduced to the lovely photographers who patiently waited for us to arrive. Mike and May from Soura Photography were an absolute delight to deal with. They made us feel super comfortable and at ease, the results of which you can see in the amazing pictures they clicked.”
The photoshoot was followed by a lavish lunch at Pierchic, known for its outstanding seafood menu. Nisha spoke of how great the Pierchic team made her feel saying, “We felt like royals, with someone waiting on us to fulfil our every need. Post lunch, we were directed to the romantic Burj Al Arab private beach, where we strolled away and caught up on all the things about or upcoming big day.” Telling us about how she met her soulmate, she said “I knew Jai for 3 years until we decided to tie the knot. We studied in the same school, Our Own Indian School, but somehow never crossed paths with each other. Then on 2nd December 2016, we bumped into each other at a picnic and then as they say, the rest is history.” Nisha blushed on as she spoke of how fond she’s of hubby-to-be! “Marriage for me is finding that soulmate (Jai) and being by each other’s side through everything for the rest of our lives. It’s a beautiful union of two souls, joined together in friendship and understanding.”
Sweet, isn’t it? Who wouldn’t love such a wonderful experience leading up to their big day! Watch out for such many more exciting competitions coming up on www.masala.com and on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
