This Is What Harbhajan Singh Has To Say About Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul's Comments On Koffee With Karan
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have been in the news for saying several things on the show and the viewers didn't take this lightly
The controversies around the coy comments made by Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on Koffee With Karan last week is still a trending topic on the internet as everyone is quite upset about it.
Former Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh spoke about the duo for making frivolous remarks on Koffee with Karan. Harbhajan said that they tarnished the image of cricket. In an interview with India Today, Harbhajan Singh said, “I will not travel with these two guys in the bus if my daughter or my wife are travelling in the team bus with me. How would they feel? You are looking at women in only one angle, and that is not right.”
He said, “We don't talk about all this even with our friends, and they were talking about it on public television. Now people might think was Harbhajan Singh like this, was Anil Kumble like this and was Sachin Tendulkar... Pandya has been in the team for how long to talk of the team culture in the manner he did. I think this is the way to go."
However, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have been suspended from the team by the BCCI and may be asked to return from Australia where the two were expected to play a 3-day match.
A source in the BCCI said, "Whether it will be an internal committee of the BCCI or an ad hoc ombudsman who will conduct an inquiry, is yet to be ascertained".
"The Indian team management will take a call on whether they would want to keep the two with the team or not. But the majority in BCCI is against the decision of keeping them," he added.
Justifying the indefinite suspension on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, Harbhajan added, “The BCCI did the right thing, and this is also the way forward. This was expected, and I am not surprised."
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul fuelled a controversy for giving their ‘insensitive views’ on the talk show, Koffee with Karan 6. There was a widespread backlash on social media, and both Pandya and Rahul were not allowed to be the part of the ODI team.
