The Witcher Star Henry Cavill to Visit and Meet Fans in Dubai

Henry Cavill has portrayed Superman in three DC Extended Universe films. He was recently seen in Netflix’s new hit drama series The Witcher

Henry Cavill -- who plays the leading role of Geralt of Rivia in American fantasy drama series The Witcher -- will be in Dubai this March. The English actor will be visiting the city on 31st March for the opening of Speedy Comics’ store, which sells toys and pop culture merchandise. Henry will be meeting fans at the inaugural event of the store. Speedy Comics announced the news on social media, saying fans would have “a once in a lifetime opportunity” to click pictures and take autographs of the actor. The shop has a branch in Kuwait and its Dubai store is located inside Al Attar Business Centre on Shaikh Zayed Road.

Henry began his career with the feature adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo (2002). Along with receiving a lot of love from the audience, Henry has also received praise from various critics for his performance. Erik Kain wrote on Forbes.com, “I think Henry Cavill’s live-action version of Geralt of Rivia on Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher is my favorite version. I love the video game Geralt—he’s one of the best characters in video games as far as I’m concerned. It’s just that Cavill’s version is better.”

He further said, “Cavill’s Witcher is funnier and more vulnerable. He may be the strong silent type most of the time, but he cracks his fair share of jokes and offers up enough wry smiles to qualify as charming.”
