The world premiere of The Lion King -- a remake of the 1994 animated movie with the same name -- took place on Tuesday, 9th July, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, in Los Angeles, California. Many stars associated with the upcoming film, including Donald Glover, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, as well as director Jon Favreau were present on the occasion but Beyoncé stole the show on the red carpet. The singer voices the fiery character of Nala in the highly-anticipated live-action film and as she stepped onto the red carpet at the premiere, the audience went crazy as their screams grew louder with excitement.
Queen B was accompanied by her seven-year old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and the two were seen twinning in diamond-studded blazer gowns. The Grammy award-winning singer wore a diamond-encrusted silver and black blazer gown by Alexander McQueen.
Apart from being the voice of Nala, Beyoncé has written and will be presenting an original new song in the film, and will also be performing the iconic "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". In a recent interview, director Jon Favreau shared, “We have all the original songs, but there’s a song that she performed and wrote in the spirit of the production along with working with Lebo M., who’s part of it with Hans Zimmer.”

This album will be released on the same day as the movie (19th July). The Lion King will retell the story of an innocent cub, Simba, and his journey to becoming the true and honourable king of the jungle, after spending his childhood away from home. Donald Glover voices the role of Simba, while Bollywood star kid Aryan Khan will be the character's voice in the HIndi version of The Lion King.
