The 10 Worst Movies of 2011
Thank You

We all know this year for Bollywood was pretty good compared to last year. But this doesn't mean that it didn't have its share of flops. From the much hyped biggies to the straight-to-DVD candidates, here are the movies that probably shouldn't have made it to cinemas.

'Thank You'
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Sunil Shetty, Sonam Kapoor, Rimi Sen, Celina Jaitly
What We Hated: Why does Anees Bazmee always showcases men as dogs and women as dumb? It seriously offends us.
Worst Performance: If there is one actor determined to commit career suicide it is Akhsay Kumar. He is playing characters that get more regressive and infantile with each passing movie.
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: Vidya Balan repeating herself as the dead wife.

Cast: Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Aditi Sharma
What We Hated: Soo many separations in the spam of three hours. In the end, we wanted to run out of the cinema!
Worst Performance: Can't say it was terrible but Sonam's acting didn't leave much of an impression on us.
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: What was Pankaj Kapur thinking when he wrote the last scene? We are talking about Shahid's character's heroic act where he saves a boy's life and during it his paralysed arm comes back to life!

'Chatur Singh Two Star'
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Ameesha Patel, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Sanjay Mishra
What We Hated: The script... Enough said!
Worst Performance: Sanju baba we loved you in th 'Munnabhai' series, why are you doing such stupid movies?
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: A corrupt politician (Gulshan Grover) is bumped off by a sharpshooter while he is being treated to a raunchy number by a red chiffon-clad secretary (Amisha Patel). Gross!

Cast: Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Jaaved Jaaferi, Mahakshay Chakraborthy, Mika, Shweta Bharadwaj, Kim Sharma
What We Hated: A bunch of 40-years-old trying to act like 20-years-old excluding Mahakshay (who maybe in 20s but looks 40!).
Worst Performance: Shared by Suniel Shetty (wooden) and Ravi Kishan (strange)
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: The item song in the end credits, why does Rakhi Sawant wear what she wears?
Box Office report: Rs3.45crores

'Tell Me Oh Kkhuda'
Cast: Esha Deol, Arjan Bajwa, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna
What We Hated: Tell Me Oh Khuda, if Esha Deol wanted to make a comeback, why was it in her mom's movie? The film was silly from the word go.
Worst Performance: Esha Deol who had a teary-eyed expression throughout the film.
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: Umm, every scene which had the veteran actors making fools of themselves.

'Saath Khoon Maaf'

Cast: Priyanka Chopra, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Usha Uthup, Annu Kapoor, Vivaan Shah, Aleksandr Dyachenko, Ruskin Bond
What We Hated: At two and a half hours, this cumbersome play-by-numbers tale took a toll on us. We are sure that we aged by the time the movie ended.
Worst Performance: Priyanka Chopra should stop thinking she is Meryl Streep
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: No doubt it is the last scene. Nun Priyanka dances in a dark room for her seventh husband. Seriously, what was director Vishal Bhardwaj thinking??

Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut, Sarah Jane Dias, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani
What We Hated: Umm, the whole movie.
Worst Performance: Someone tell Boman Irani to stop overacting!
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: The finale is so weird and kiddish that one wonders, how was the script approved?

Cast: Salman Khan, Asin, Aarya Babbar, Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Akhilendra Mishra, Sharath Saxena
What We Hated: The whole setup. Too many characters in the movie, hasn't director Anees Bazmi heard the saying too many cooks spoil the broth? In this case, too many over-the-top actors spoil the movie.
Worst Performance: Asin neither acts well nor dresses well.
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: It would be the family dance sequence!

'Patiala House'
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Rishi Kapoor Anushka Sharma
What We Hated: That Akshay Kumar did another movie that he really shouldn't have done.
Worst Performance: Anushka Sharma's rather annoying chirpy girl role, yet again
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: Every scene where there's too much Kali chanting happening

Kucch Love Jaisaa

Cast: Rahul Bose, Shefaali Shah, Neetu Chandra, Sumit Raghavan
What We Hated: Shefaali Shah as the naive housewife. How can a woman be so dumb?
Worst Performance: Sadly we have to say its Rahul Bose. He just doesn't fit the part of a gangster.
Most Cringe-worthy Scene: Taporis doing the tapori thing - being ill-mannered and burping.
