The simple and the authentic Tamil Dosai. Yes, that is what forms the crux of little Taimur Ali Khan’s diet, as revealed by his mother Kareena Kapoor Khan. And yes, in case you don't know, little Taimur's dietician is none other than mom Kareena.
Kareena is also assisted by her dietician Rujuta Diwekar who was responsible for getting the actress, her famous ‘size zero’ figure. At an event, where she interacted with Rujuta, Kareena revealed some interesting details about her own diet as well as what she feeds Taimur.
It looks like unlike other children, Taimur is not into unhealthy things like chocolates and cheese which children love. Or maybe it’s health freak Kareena’s insistence on ensuring that her little one inculcates healthy eating habits right from childhood. Thus, Taimur's diet consists mostly of healthy food cooked at home, such as Khichdi, Idli and Dosa.
Kareena also revealed that she also makes a diet plan for him, which changes every month. "So I also sit on a plan. Every month I alternate it accordingly. Whatever fruits and vegetables he should be eating in the month... he quite enjoys it. Today, he actually had saag (spinach) for lunch and he normally didn't like it but I have been shoving it down his throat. So now he's got used to it. So he actually ate the whole bowl," she said.
Kareena also opened up about getting back in shape after giving birth to Taimur. "I think that a lot of hard work and dedication goes towards eating the right food and hitting the gym. People thought I did it very fast but I did it in an entire year by following a consistent plan, which is normal," she said.
On the acting front, Kareena is currently busy shooting for Angrezi Medium, while husband Saif is looking forward to the release of his next film titled Laal Kaptaan, which is slated to hit the screens on September 6. Kareena will also be seen next on the big screen in Raj Mehta's directorial debut Good News, in which she will romance Akshay Kumar. The film, which also stars Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, will release on December 27.
