Taapsee Pannu On Being Called Kangana’s ‘Sasti Copy’: If Someone Trolls You That Means You Matter
Taapsee Pannu remains unfettered by trolls and says they make her feel important. She added she has no time to respond to Kangana and her sister Rangoli and her priority is her work
In a surprising turn of events last week, Kangana Ranaut’s sister lashed out at Taapsee Pannu on Twitter. Rangoli Chandel, who is also the 'Queen' star’s manager, called out Taapsee for being Kangana’s ‘sasti copy’. This came after Taapsee praised the trailer of Kangana’s upcoming film ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’ but did not mention her name. "This is so cool!!!! Always had high expectations out of this one n this looks so worth it! #JudgementallHaiKya,” she tweeted. This didn’t sit too well amongst the Ranaut sisters, with Rangoli slamming Taapsee for not appreciating Kangana in the post. While Taapsee remained mum for a few days, she has now spoken about the flak she received from the siblings.
Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy https://t.co/5eRioUxPic— Rangoli Chandel (@Rangoli_A) July 3, 2019

Meanwhile filmmaker Anurag Kashyap said her comment was a low blow.
Speaking about being bashed in a recent interview, Taapsee said, “I am not reacting to this. I am way too taken up with looking at the positive side of people, things in general and my own life. I genuinely have no time to spare for this." She continued, "When you are getting trolled, it means you matter. If you are not getting trolled, it means nobody wants to spend time and energy on you and you don't matter to anyone." Taapsee added that she would like to concentrate on her work rather than spending her time on such “useless” things. "I don't believe in spending my time on these issues. I feel our life is too short and there is a lot of work to do in that span. There is a lot of important work in my life, so I would like to concentrate on that aspect," she concluded.
