However, we have found a secret behind these pictures. These pictures are in fact, a part of the role that Taapsee plays in the film. A prosthetic make-up artist was roped in to get this injured look on Taapsee. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Taapsee had revealed how she prepared for her character saying that she never got a fracture in her life. She said that it was really awkward shooting for 12 hours a day for 25 days sitting in a wheelchair.
The actress had further added, "In fact, I used to be in my leg cast between shots because it would take too much time to be in and out of it. So, every time I needed to go to the washroom or lie on my bed to relax, I used to be in the cast. I got really dependent for those 12 hours but also got used to it. She also said that it was difficult to play an emotionally and a mentally draining character.
Director Ashwin Saravanan told IANS in an interview that he wanted to work with Taapsee ever since he saw her in Pink. He also said that he liked how Taapsee was not screen-conscious and could get into the skin of any character.
Game Over, directed by Ashwin Saravanan, revolves around a medical condition called Anniversary Effect. It will be hitting the screens on June 14.
