Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister records a video plea asking for a CBI enquiry into her brother’s death
Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media to ask for fans to help
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti has started an online campaign asking fans to help her get justice for her brother’s death. She posted an image to her social media holding up a sign reading, “I am sister of Sushant Singh Rajput & I request for #CBIforSSR”. The hashtag has been created as Sushant’s family want a CBI enquiry into the late actor’s death.
Shortly after posting the image, Shweta posted a video to Instagram asking for fans to help and post using the hashtag #CBIforSSR.
In the video she says, “Hello everyone, I’m Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, and I request everyone to stand together and demand for CBI enquiry for Sushant. We deserve to know the truth. We deserve justice for Sushant. Otherwise we won’t find closure. We won’t be able to live a peaceful life”.
The caption to the video reads “It’s time we find the truth and get justice. Please help our family and the whole world to know what the truth is and find closure, otherwise we will never be able to live a peaceful life!!#CBIForSSR Raise your voice and demand #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #WarriorsForSSR @sushantsinghrajput.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14, aged 34. There is an ongoing investigation into his death, as his family believe that he did not commit suicide.
Yesterday, further information was revealed regarding the case. Sushant’s diary revealed that the late actor wanted to work in Hollywood in 2020 and had plans to contribute to issues relating to education and the environment.
