Hrithik Roshan’s soon-to-be-released film Super 30 is crucial to his career. He has had no releases since the reasonably-received Kaabil in January 2017. Hence audiences will be seeing Hrithik after a break of 2 ½ years. The actor, known to be fastidious about his projects, has gone all-out to ensure that Super 30, a bio-pic on the life of Bihari mathematician Anand Kumar, would reach the theatres in the most perfect avatar possible.
Many pre-release promotional media events leading up to the release on July 12 were planned. But now a brake has been applied to all media interaction with Hrithik after the cloud of a crisis that had appeared over Hrithik and his family’s life. For those who do not follow the vagaries of entertainers and their lives, a whole crisis has erupted in the Roshan household with the daughter of the family Sunaina Roshan claiming to be maltreated. Since the last few days, Sunaina has been ranting against her family for allegedly objecting to her relationship with a Muslim journalist.
Hrithik has decided to stay away from media interactions in order to avoid questions on his sister. Says an informed source, “All media events with Hrithik Roshan pertaining to Super 30 stand cancelled as Hrithik doesn’t want to field embarrassing questions from the media about his family crisis.”
The situation puts an extra burden on mathematician Anand Kumar who was supposed to share the platform with Hrithik at media interactions. Now he has to go it alone.
