Sooraj Pancholi Says He Has No Patience To Wait For Court's Judgement

Sooraj Pancholi was accused of abetting fellow actress and girlfriend, Jiah Khan's suicide back in 2013 after thorough investigations

Sooraj Pancholi, son to Bollywood stars Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, is one the most talked about celebrities in Bollywood. The actor made his debut in 2015 with Hero, opposite 2015, but things do not seem to be going too well for him ever since. However, prior to his acting debut, Sooraj was dating Ghajini star, Jiah Khan - who was found dead in her room in 2013 after an apparent suicide. In late 2015, after Sooraj's film released, investigations revealed that he was a prime suspect behind her death. In 2018 - five years after Jiah's death - Sooraj was finally charged with abetting Jiah's suicide and the case hasn't been settled yet.

At a recent event, Sooraj broke down while discussing the court case. He said, "I have been struggling in life over the past seven years. I was put behind bars when I was around 21-years-old for something I haven't done. I don't want to hype this, but I want to say that all these years I have been quite because I believed in our legal system. I still believe in the court procedures but it has been time consuming. I don't have the patience for the judgement for another 14-20 years."

Sooraj also added, "If I am a complainant, I don't have to go to the court but the accused has to go to the court for every hearing. I have been going to hearings since I was 21 and I am going to be 29 soon. In the history of India, mine is the only case where the accused has asked the court to continue trial." The actor has not starred in any film after his debut in 2015. However, he did finish completing a film called Satellite Shankar, which is scheduled to release on November 15, 2019.
