Sonam Kapoor is all set for the release of her film The Zoya Factor and has commenced promotions in style. Her latest look is a custom made sari by Raghavendra Rathore.
Sonam Kapoor is all set to be seen on the big screen in her upcoming film, The Zoya Factor and fans can hardly wait. The trailer for the upcoming film released this week and Sonam Kapoor has commenced promotions for the film. The film marks the starlet’s return to the big screen after Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and she made a rather bold statement in a red number at the trailer launch of the film. Sonam Kapoor has made her mark in the industry as the undisputed style star and she leaves heads turning with every look. Her unique sense of style and sartorial choices have led her to become a global style icon and she even made headlines at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where she sported some rather edgy looks.
As the starlet commenced film promotions, many in the fashion circle have noted that Sonam Kapoor has been sporting a lot of red since promotions for the upcoming film started. Her most recent look too is a red outfit which was styled by her stylist and sister, Rhea Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor was clad in a custom made Bandhgala Sari from Raghavendra Rathore which was quite the unconventional style for a sari.
The sari wasn’t paired with a conventional blouse, but rather a jacket style blouse which was adorned with embellishments on one side and featured a plunging neckline. The sari’s palu too featured matching embellishments and was draped over her sari. She paired the sari with traditional pearl earrings.
For her makeup look, Sonam Kapoor opted for a messy hairdo which was parted in the middle and braided at the back. She opted for a 60s style makeup look with thick winged liner and a glossy red lip.
The Zoya Factor has been delayed quite a few times and was initially all set to hit the big screens on April 5, 2019 and then it got pushed to June, and now it is releasing on September 20. There was much speculation that the film was delayed due to the Cricket World Cup that took place this year. However, another reason provided was that the film was delayed as there was post-production work left.
