Sonam Kapoor Always Feels That Her Performances Are Never Good Enough

Sonam Kapoor shared that she keeps watching her films again and again and is always self-critical of her performances

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is one of the biggest celebrities in the industry right now. While she does not have a lot of hits under her belt, she has surely wowed crowds with her performance in Neerja. Apart from working in films, Sonam hasn’t been one to shy away from speaking the truth. Whether it’s her films not doing well at the box office, her personal life, the Indo-Pak relations, or any issue prevailing in the society at any point of time, the actress has always been very vocal about what she feels. This time around, she has confessed her own feelings about her performances.

In a recent interview, Sonam revealed that she has always been self-critical of her work and keeps going back to see how she has performed. She said, “I do watch my films again and I never think I do a good enough job and one day I will do a good enough job. There is always a room for improvement. Hopefully, I will one day live up to my expectations.” Many believe that Sonam is unable to pick the perfect character when it comes to films; however, she feels that there is no such thing as a “super perfect” character.

With films such as Veere Di Wedding, Mausam, Khoobsoorat and many others, Sonam’s career spans about 15 years. And unlike many who believe that star kids have it easy, the young starlet’s journey was not a piece of cake. She concluded, “I don’t think anything good comes easily to anyone. If it comes easy then it is going to go in a easy way. I have been blessed, I am lucky with the roles I have got to play but at the same time there is no substitute for hard work and I have been extremely hard working. I am there for the long run. I want to keep working till the end of my life.”
