Time flies! It has been almost a decade since Sonakshi Sinha made her foray in Bollywood and the starlet has been making waves since. While her claim to fame may have been bagging the Dabangg franchise opposite Salman Khan for her Indian cinema debut in 2010, she has starred in a bevy of films and proved her versatility as an actor. These include Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Lootera and Akira among others. It’s been nine-years in the industry for Sona and she still feels like “it was just yesterday” and could not be happier about where she is today.
The 32-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories and penned down a heartwarming note about her journey. “Nine years back, 10th September 2010, was the day Dabangg released which means it was the day I started this amazing journey of being an actor and being able to entertain you all. Honestly, I don’t even know where all this time flew because it feels like just yesterday,” she wrote. She then posted a bunch of Insatgram stories where her fans wished her on her success.
Sonakshi revealed her main purpose remains focusing on her job and she does not allow negativity to come in the way of her work. "Everybody has their ups and downs, not only actors. Even a rikshawallah has ups and downs. That's normal. That is how you grow as a person. I don't care what trolls and haters say because I am still here and they are still there. I have this quality that I can shut out all negativity and for me. It is very important to focus on my work, stay positive and move forward. If few of my films have not done well, people have not stopped offering me films. In fact, I've been busiest over the past few years, and I have four releases this year," she stated.
