Bollywood actress and author Soha Ali Khan has had a good run in the industry with films such as Rang De Basanti, Tum Mile and Go Goa Gone. But the actress hasn’t been seen on screen too often. In 2017, she published her first book, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous – as she belongs to a family full of film and sports stars. The same year, she gave birth to her first child – a daughter Inaaya and she and her husband, Kunal Khemmu were overjoyed. Ever since, Soha has been very active on social media and lending support to different causes, especially those that help her and her daughter.
Now, since Inaaya was born, the actress felt like a lot has changed in her life an in an effort to create a better lifestyle for both, Soha, herself, has changed a lot of her habits. In a recent interview, she shared, “Since I do not want Inaaya to watch TV or stick around the mobile phone, I have stopped watching TV in the day time, especially when she is around. Children always tend to imitate everything that we are doing in front of them. I think parenthood brought a certain change of habits in my daily days.”
Soha is also focusing on helping Inaaya learn through examples. She added, “Since I do not want her to be an aggressive individual, I try not to be aggressive in front of her. Also, children want to eat what we are eating and refined sugar is bad for health, so I too have stopped eating that because she always wants to eat from my plate.” But Soha stressed that one should not wait for the baby to be born to start caring care of its’ health. She explained that the mother should start taking a good intake of iodine as its deficiency can cause serious health issues.
