Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have had quite a busy year and have been working on a number of projects. They have both shared screen space back in 2014 with their film Hasee Toh Phasee; a romantic comedy drama, directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. The film received critical acclaim from critics and fans instantly fell in love with the leading pair’s amazing on-screen chemistry. And that led to filmmakers casting the two together again and they will next be seen in Jabariya Jodi.

Sidharth Malhotra recently opened up in a candid interview about his co-star. He was questioned about working closely with Parineeti and said, “Parineeti and I bond well off the camera too. That's a major advantage. When you work with someone again after having such a good time in your first film, you don't have to waste time breaking the ice,” Sidharth said about his co-star.

He went on to talk about a certain comfort zone which only comes with having worked together over a period of time. “You know that person. There's a comfort zone,” he said, adding that there’s a sense of freedom between the two of them and he can improvise with her as a co-star.

Jabariya Jodi is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh and directed by Prashant Singh, and is all set to hit the theatre screens on 9th August. The romantic comedy drama is based on the tradition of groom kidnapping which is prevalent in Bihar. Siddharth Malhorta will be seen essaying the role of a Bihari thug named Abhay Singh and meanwhile Parineeti Chopra will be playing the role of Babli Yadav, who is nothing like her name. We can’t wait to see these two together on screen again.
