Shraddha Kapoor Twists Ankle on ‘Street Dancer 3D' Sets After Injuring Neck and Shoulder
Shraddha Kapoor twisted her ankle on the sets of her upcoming film Street Dancer 3D. She even shared a video to show her hurt foot.
After injuring her neck and shoulder, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has ended up hurting her ankle on the sets of “Street Dancer 3D.” Tending to her twisted ankle, she took to Instagram to share a video of her physiotherapist. “Ankle twist care by our lovely onset physio @fatemar234. First my neck and shoulders then my ankle. And you’re here to the rescue. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Shraddha captioned the picture. She will be seen starring opposite Varun Dhawan in “Street Dancer 3D.” The film is directed by Remo D’Souza.
The “Street Dancer 3D” team wrapped up the Dubai shooting schedule earlier in June and shared some pictures from the sets. A selfie of Varun and Shraddha was shared by the latter on her Instagram account as well. The two are seen smiling for the picture happily. “Last day of the Dubai schedule @varundvn,” she captioned the post, prompting Varun to quickly comment on the picture. He wrote, “I actually clicked this selfie in a take which features in the movie haha.”
It is pertinent to mention that this is the second time Varun and Shraddha will be sharing screen space together after the 2015 hit film, “ABCD 2.” The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurana and Shakti Mohan in crucially important roles. According to reports surfacing online, Varun will be playing a dancer from Punjab whereas Shraddha will be seen playing a dancer from Pakistan. Sources familiar with the matter disclosed that Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif was supposed to play the leading role in the film and she, along with Varun had earlier appeared in popular tv show “Koffee with Karan” to promote “Street Dancer 3D.” But Katrina backed out of the project due to her commitments to “Bharat” and Shraddha was asked to take up the role after quitting the Saina Nehwal biopic which actress Parineeti Chopra opted for later. “Street Dancer 3D” will hit the theatres next year on January 24.
