Shraddha Kapoor to receive Judo and MMA training for Baaghi 3
Shraddha Kapoor will be receiving Judo and MMA training for Baaghi 3 in Serbia as her role now requires her to perform more action-packed stunts
Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has been soaring high on the success of her recent releases Saaho and Chhichhore. The actress made her debut in 2010 with Teen Patti, but it was only Aashiqui 2 opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor that brought her to the forefront of Bollywood. Ever since then, she has starred in numerous big productions such as Baaghi, ABCD 2 and Stree amongst many others. While her 2018 film opposite Shahid Kapoor, Batti Gul Meter Chalu didn’t fare too well at the box office, the actress has had two back to back super hits this time around. And now, she’s gearing up with special training for her next film.
Shraddha will be next seen reprising her role as Sia in Baaghi 3 – the third installment of the hit franchise which also stars Tiger Shroff. However this time around, the actress will be donning an action-packed avatar wherein she will be required to undergo Judo and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training in Serbia. Filmmaker Ahmed Khan revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Three action masters will be training Shraddha. It’s a combination of mind and speed, very slick and international. We are still planning what kind of training she will need to go through, but I can assure that she will surprise everyone.”
The actress will also have to attend a few workshops before she starts shooting. Tiger, on the other hand, has also learnt Krav Maga, Kalaripayattu, Kung Fu, Kickboxing and Muay Thai for the film. He will be experimenting with wield machine guns, pistols and shotguns as well. Shraddha will be seen essaying the role of an air hostess in Baaghi, while Riteish Deshmukh joins the film to play Tiger’s brother. Filming of Baaghi 3 has already begun and the team is hoping for the shoot to be wrapped up by the end of the year. For now, the film is scheduled to hit screens on March 6, 2020.
