Shraddha Kapoor Shares Her Life Has Taught Her A Lot
Shraddha Kapoor revealed that life has been her biggest teacher and it has helped her a lot, especially when it comes to playing different characters
Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor is now one of the most popular celebrities in the industry. Having spent almost a decade in Bollywood already, the actress has been a part of various hit films – her first one being Aashiqui 2 opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. This year, Shraddha is flying high on the success of her latest back-to-back hits. Her releases this time, Saaho and Chhichhore have been performing really well at the box office and the fans are loving her characters in the later. While there is constantly a competition in Bollywood, Shraddha doesn't let it get to her.
In an interview with The Asian Age, Shraddha revealed that she doesn't consider being in Bollywood, a race. She said, "There are so many opportunities for everyone. It is not like we just have few actresses. Now there is space for everyone. I feel like I looked at things differently; I focus so much on my work and myself that I don’t have time for anything. I don’t even have time to watch movies. When people ask me, ‘Have you gone to this party?’, I say no, because I am focused on my films. People are also telling me that I am not out there, but I like it that way because it helps me focus."
The young starlet gives full credit to her life for being a teacher to her which also prepare her for upcoming roles. She shared, "I think life is the biggest teacher. We make people into characters every single day, and if we can use that in our life and craft, then it works. Just by observing people — I love having conversations with people — you can get to learn so much. Films definitely teach you a lot, but nothing is better than life. Life is your biggest teacher." Shraddha is currently gearing up for her next film, Street Dancer 3 with Varun Dhawan, after which she will start filming the sequel of Stree.
