Shraddha Kapoor Reveals How She is Managing Anxiety Before Her Film Saaho’s Release
Shraddha Kapoor had revealed last year that she has had anxiety issues for three to four years but is dealing with them in a positive way.
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has been busy with the promotions of her highly anticipated upcoming film, Saaho, opposite Baahubali star Prabhas. This is Shraddha’s debut in South Indian cinema and the first time she is sharing screen space with the South superstar. In a recent interview during the film’s promotions, the actress, who as a substantial role in the mega-budget film, revealed that she is nervous about the film’s release. She said, "It's been two years that I am associated with Saaho, and I am honestly very nervous because audiences are very particular these days about what they want to watch."
She went on to say that the audience does not care about the film’s big budget or who the actors are and “it's a very good thing that way as everyone will pull up their socks and do their best. But because the audience is the ultimate judge, I am nervous."
She added that she was looking for challenges and that people think actors “lack substance” if they are part of a commercial film. She said that she wants to do films which entertain the audiences and where she can connect with the story.
Last year, the actress had revealed that she has been dealing with anxiety since the last three to four years but tries to manage it positiviely, every single day. When asked about how she deals with anxiety specifically before a film’s release, Shraddha shared that she starts meditating, which helps, and also works out and watches her food intake. Her action thriller film Saaho will hit the screens on 30th August 2019 and will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Evelyn Sharma, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi. It has been made with a big budget of INR 3 billion.
