Shraddha Kapoor Recovering From Dengue
Shraddha Kapoor, still basking under the success of ‘Stree’ was suffering from dengue fever
Shraddha Kapoor says she is recovering well amid reports that she was suffering from dengue. "Hey guys! Please don't worry. I am recovering well. Lots of love to you all," Shraddha wrote on her Instagram stories.
The Stree actress was shooting for Saina Nehwal's biopic when she was diagnosed with dengue fever. Shraddha will be seen playing the badminton champion in the film titled Saina.
“Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a check-up revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole (Gupte) continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the news as well, “Shraddha has had a busy schedule for months now and that seems to have taken a toll on her health. All of us empathise with her situation. We will soon get an update on her health and when she can resume work. She is keen to get back as soon as possible.”
Shraddha has had a mixed year at the movies so far. Her horror-comedy with Rajkummar Rao, Stree has entered the 100-crore club. However, next release, Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shahid Kapoor failed to evoke any response at the box office.
