Shraddha Kapoor Pens a Lengthy Thank You Note for her Street Dancer 3D Team
Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer Street Dancer 3D, a dance drama film directed by Remo D'Souza, will hit the screens on 24th January 2020.
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has just wrapped up the final schedule of her upcoming film Street Dancer 3D, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Prabhudeva and Nora Fatehi in lead roles. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film is a sequel to the director’s 2015 dance film ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) 2, which also starred Varun and Shraddha. As the shooting of the sequel concluded recently, Shraddha took to Instagram to thank her Street Dancer 3D team. She posted several team photos from the shoots, and penned a lengthy thank you note, which she started by writing, “...my heart feels so full right now. It’s been such an incredible and memorable journey.”

She then thanked director Remo D'Souza, calling him “the flag bearer of bringing dance films to India.” She said that he had paved the way for “so many dancers all around our country to believe in their dreams.” She called Varun Dhawan “my forever babulal chirkut batuk” and “an amazing friend”, and Nora, a “ crazy amazing dancer.” Regarding Prabhudeva, Shraddha wrote, “You’ve blown our minds away with being so humble and being such an unbelievable dancer!”
Shraddha thanked everyone who had helped make the film a reality, including producer Bhushan Kumar for “believing in this film”, the choreographers, fellow actors and dancers, her fitness team and the doctors for helping with dance injuries, as well as her manager and assistants. She also acknowledged her family and loved ones, “for always being the wind beneath my wings.” She ended the note by thanking everyone involved with the film and mentioned the release date, 24th January 2020. The film has been shot in Punjab and London. Katrina Kaif was the original choice for Shraddha’s role but she opted out of the film.
