Shilpa Shetty Kundra on what the pandemic has taught her
The star expressed her gratitude for the extra time at home
Actress and bussinesswoman Shilpa Shetty Kundra has found positives in the lockdown period. Largely due to the fact that she has been able to spend time with her baby, Samisha who she welcomed via surrogacy in February.
Talking to IANS, Shilpa said, "I couldn't have timed it better. It's God's grace, it worked perfectly in my scheme of things.” The mum of two added, “This time is so precious with my son and with my newborn. I can only be thankful and have utmost gratitude for the way things have panned out.”
Although Shilpa does make time for family all the time, she believes the pandemic has been a result of her wishes for more time at home. "Despite being busy, I would still make time for family, but not like this. I just feel that it's really what I wanted so badly and I feel in a way I manifested it," she said.
Known for her gracious nature the Bollywood star focuses on the positive in all situations. Reflecting on the coronavirus pandemic she said, “The universe knows how to reset, to teach us patience and value for what we have. Hope we learn from this experience and come out stronger.”
