Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh has been making headlines and without a doubt has become talk of the town. While it has been met with much criticism for its violent approach towards women and ingrained toxic masculinity, audiences have been loving the Sandeep Vanga directorial. Within a week of its release, the box office figures went soaring and just recently the film crossed Rs100 crores. The film is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy and has been open to lots of mixed reviews. Shahid Kapoor has been celebrating the success of the box office hit and his brother Ishaan Khatter took to social media to share a heartfelt message for his brother.
While there has been a lot of praise for the Shahid Kapoor-starrer, social media has also created a negative space where the film has been slammed and received a lot of flak. Among the many negative comments posted online about the film and its misogynistic plot, there was one comment that caught the attention of Ishaan Khatter. And just like the supportive brother that he is, he schooled the troll in the most befitting manner.

“Sweet justification to misogyny, naice, very naice,” the troll commented on a video posted by Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan Khatter was having none of it and decided to school the troll in his own way.
“No actually, it’s quite the opposite. It’s an appreciation post for a gem of a human being and an actor par excellence. As for *your read* on the film, it’s cinema. Everybody should have an opinion. I don’t agree with yours. But that’s a conversation for another day. Enjoy your day!” Ishaan wrote.
Earlier, Shahid Kapoor too had taken to Instagram to comment on his brother’s appreciation post. “More power to you Ishaan. Words too kind. Love you always,” he said.
