Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are one of Bollywood's most loved couples and are known as one of Bollywood’s most family oriented couples. They are known for being rather private with their lives and barely make headlines for any controversies surrounding their relationship or marriage. Shahid Kapoor is also quite the family man and if you are an avid user of social media and follow Shahid Kapoor, then you’ll know that he loves to spend time with his wife, Mira Kapoor and two children, Misha and Zain Kapoor. The couple tied the knot four years ago and despite having an arranged marriage, they have grown rather close to each other and share a special bond.
The couple was recently interviewed by a leading fashion magazine in which he was asked about his marriage, his family, his films and the first time he met Mira. "The only thought going through my mind was, ‘Here we are, sitting in this room on these two big sofas with nobody else around. Are we even going to last 15 minutes?'" While this may habe been the case, it is important to note that during their first meeting the two had talked for over seven hours.
Mira Rajput went on to say that the fact that she is not in Bollywood is one of the reasons their marriage has worked. She had said, "I’ve never been into movies, which I think was a good thing because following that first chat when we actually got to know each other, it was for who we are…not for who others think we are." Mira Kapoor however, has always been a supporter of her husband and has helped him to move on if one of his films was not successful at the box office. Shahid Kapoor's most recent release, Kabir Singh, fared rather well at the box office however, it also faced a lot of backlash for promoting toxic masculinity. Mira Kapoor stood by her husband during this time and supported him throughout.
